1/2 cup dry quinoa
choice of seasoning and spice – garlic powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, etc.
Rinse the dry quinoa until the water runs clear.
Add quinoa to the sauce pan with 1 cup of water. (double the amount of dry quinoa)
Add seasonings and spices.
Heat on high until boiling, then cover and set temperature to low.
Let simmer until all water is absorbed, about 15-20 minutes.
Sprinkle with fresh cracked pepper, and a bit of fresh ground sea salt.
Makes approximately 1 cup of cooked quinoa!
