Round 2 – Day 83

I don’t think I’ve mentioned this yet, but I entered into the isaBody Challenge.   The challenge basically has you committing to isAgenix for 120 days, submitting before and after photos/measurements along with a 250-500 word essay explaining how the transformation improved/impacted your life, and receiving $200 worth of isAgenix product and a shirt for completing it!    Also, there is a chance (a small chance) of winning a greater amount of money, trips, personal trainers, etc.

I have approximately 30 days left (they give you an extra week to upload your images and submit your essay) in my challenge and am DETERMINED to finish it.  I entered once before when I first started isAgenix but unfortunately lost my motivation somewhere around the third month.  This time I will complete it!  :)

Round 2 – Day 75

I’m back to posting new shake recipes once a week, and this week I made a Coconut Cream shake!  Talk about YUMMY!

It was the first time I used a liquid other than water, and it was really nice to have a change of pace with the flavor.  I highly recommend it, along with any of the other shakes on my Recipes page.  What’s your favorite shake recipe?!  I’d love to get some new ideas!

Round 2 – Day 70

I’m back on the wagon!  WHOOOHOOO!  I finally felt comfortable enough in my own skin to get back on the scale and guess what!??!  I’m back to my pre-vegas weight!!   :)  I realize now that I was ridiculous for not weighing myself before, but in reality it’s not about the number on the scale.  It’s how I feel…and when I feel gross, I really don’t care what the number is!  It really is amazing to me how much better I feel when I’m following the isAgenix program.  I have truly so much more energy, am definitely not as cranky, and overall just have a more positive outlook!  Today is a good day!  :)

Round 2 – Day 63

I’m home from Vegas! I had so much fun walking through town, hanging out with friends, and enjoying the warm weather. I did really good with having my shakes and eating a healthy dinner while I was out there, but the rest of this week hasn’t gone so well. It started with a scratchy throat at the airport, which of course meant I needed some ice cold frozen yogurt to alleviate the pain! I only wish I took a picture of this massive bowl of goodness topped off with an assortment of sprinkles. It was EXACTLY what my throat needed! :)

I have a habit of stepping one foot off the wagon and then falling completely off and then tumbling down the pavement. I starts slow but then progressively ends up to where I’m eating anything and everything I want. It’s not a pretty sight! :( I still haven’t gotten back on the wagon (or the scale), so I’m hoping that by writing this…the wagon will begin to come into sight again! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

In the meantime, here is a picture of me out in Vegas…put into a before/after with how far I’ve come.

Round 2 – Day 56

I left for Vegas this morning for a little vacation and had a goal weight that I hoped to reach before my trip.  Well…I reached that goal this past Wednesday!  FOUR DAYS before my trip!  :)  I am thrilled!!  I must admit…I did have a fear that I would ruin it in the four days until my flight, but here I am in Vegas, exactly at the weight I had hoped!

I’m sure the next few days will be filled with foods…and drinks…which I don’t have in a typical day, but it’s vacation!  Of course, I still brought my shakes and my blender!  :)

Round 2 – Day 49

I keep saying I will do a cleanse day and each week I put it off, but not this week!  This past Wednesday was my first cleanse day in over three months!  I followed the cleanse day schedule, felt great, and truly wasn’t even the slightest bit hungry.  All seemed to be going really well, and then the clock turned 3:00pm… my head started to pound!  I tried peppermint tea, it didn’t’ help.  I tried lying down and closing my eyes, it didn’t help.  I tried a cold washcloth on my forehead, it didn’t work.  I lasted until 8pm and then I caved!  I made myself a shake, took an advil, and slowly the pain in my head started to fade away.   Cleanse Day: FAILED!   :(

I think I will try doing a daily cleanse instead of a full day.  I’ve heard many say that they enjoy daily cleanses just as much as full day, and I think it will be a LOT easier for me.  You take just 1 or 2 ounces of the cleanse for life first thing upon waking up in the morning.   I’ll keep you posted on how it works…

Round 2 – Day 42

I started adding exercise in the form of walking…and walking…and walking some more!  At my office, they recently started a challenge to get 5,000 steps a day.  I decided this was a perfect time to get myself exercising again and made my personal goal to be 10,000 steps per day.  So far, I am on track!  :)

Round 2 – Day 35

Happy Valentine’s Day!  I started my day using my recipe for a Strawberries & Cream Shake.  It was the perfect shake to get into the holiday spirit!  I actually enjoy it way more than isAgenix’s new shake flavor:  Strawberry Cream

There are MANY people who love the new strawberry cream flavor, but I can’t say I am one of them.  I was actually really looking forward to trying it, since I am a HUGE fan of everything strawberry…but this version just tastes too artificial for me.  I know, I’m sorry…I truly hate saying there is something from isAgenix that I don’t like….but it’s the truth.  :(   I can say, I was told to mix half strawberry cream with half chocolate…which does sound very tasty!  I haven’t tried it yet, but will report back with my review once I do…

Round 2 – Day 30

Whooohooo!  I made it through the 30 day program!  It feels so good and the bonus,
I FEEL SO GOOD!!  :)  I am down 13.5 pounds and a whole bunch of inches!  I feel so much better, and my clothes fit better too!

I decided again not to cleanse this week, so my final results are all without any cleanse days!  I know some of you wonder if it’s possible to lose without the deep cleanse, and this is proof!  I’m not suggesting this as the preferred way, but I know for one reason or another  that cleansing isn’t an option for some.  I must say that this just confirms to me how great the isAgenix products truly are!

I’ve decided to start another 30 day program tomorrow, and even registered myself for the isaBody Challenge to keep me motivated for a total of 90 days!  This is definitely going to be a test, especially with a scheduled vacation in the middle of it…but I’m determined!!

Round 2 – Day 21

I know the plan was to exercise or possibly even cleanse but it hasn’t happened yet.  Every night before I go to sleep I tell myself that I will start cleansing in the morning and then the morning comes, and I can’t think of anything other than having my shake!  My stomach starts growling, as if it’s telling me…”DON’T DO IT!”  I just don’t think I’m ready yet.  And if I’m not ready, then I’m not going to do it…besides, I’m still feeling fantastic and that’s what really matters!  :)

I’ve also been enjoying my dinners too much to miss a day.  I’ve been adding LOTS of vegetables!   I typically get hooked on one and then proceed to have it every single day!   My vegetable of choice this week was asparagus, and I ate it every night!  If you have the time to roast them, I highly recommend it!!   Here is a link to the recipe:  Roasted Asparagus
